Hi-speed stud stepper feeder:

Feeder orients and loads randomly "dumped" studs from bin into a high-speed thru-feeding machine. Unit features variable speed feeding and minimal set-up/change-over time. An automated, high production solution.

Automatic "Soft-Touch" Fixture:

Fixture carefully unloads bars and forms them into a bundle for banding. All contact surfaces are nylon covered to protect delicate thread forms. A hands-off, completely automated exit fixture solution.

The Model 645 150' long Rolling System seen in Fastener Technology

This system is currently in production at a customer facility rolling special threads on 100 ksi bars in lengths of 20' to 60'. The threads range from 7/8-4 to 3-1/2 – 3-1/2 TPI. The system is designed for minimum changeover and easy set up to run both LH and RH threads.

The fixtures are inter-connected in 20' sections for incremental operation up to 60' to cater to the actual bar stock length to be rolled, and features self-centering mechanisms for the various diameters, wear resistant feed pads and latched safety covers.

The front load fixture is equipped with a cam release loading ramp and a powered bar feed to position bars for rolling. The unload fixture is equipped with automatic discharge and unload ramp, totally enclosed for safe operation. The system is operated from the main PLC panel. Additional station controls are conveniently positioned to streamline fixture set up and operation. All controls are interlocked for safety
